This dossier establishes court-admissible forensic evidence regarding Worldcoin (Tools for Humanity) orb biometric iris-scanning operations. We investigate the statutory breach of biometric privacy laws (BIPA) and GDPR right-to-erasure guarantees caused by anchoring permanent biological hashes to immutable distributed ledgers.
The Corporate Claim: Scanning human eyes with physical Orbs is privacy-safe because raw high-resolution iris images are instantly destroyed on-device and converted solely into an anonymous, zero-knowledge mathematical hash known as an IrisCode.
The Forensic Reality: Biological iris entropy is mathematically permanent. Converting biological eye geometry into a persistent 256-bit hash does not strip away its statutory classification as a biometric identifier under BIPA. Furthermore, once an IrisCode or cryptographic proof is anchored to an immutable decentralized ledger, permanent erasure or revocation becomes mathematically impossible.
